This is real work experience that you can put on your resume. We won't charge you extra for practical placement - this is covered as part of your training with us. At the end of the course, we want you to feel confident in your ability to teach when you enter an ESL classroom. |

It is important to us that our graduates have an good level of written and spoken English skills. This is not only so that they have the ability to complete the course, but also so that they can be successful English as a Second Language teachers.
To gain entry to the TESOL Course, you will need to give us evidence that you meet the entry requirements. This can be one of the following:

Upgrading TESOL qualificationsIf you complete our Certificate IV in TESOL, then you can choose to upgrade to the Diploma of TESOL in the future and get direct credit for the core units of the course.
This process would involve you getting recognition for the learning you have completed during the Certificate IV and would reduce the amount of work and cost to complete the Diploma of TESOL. The Diploma of TESOL builds on what you will have learnt in the Certificate IV in TESOL and goes into more depth in some areas such as TESOL methodology and assessing ESL learning. It also covers higher level ESL teaching and coordinating skills such as:
