Starting in the second week of February 2026, students enrolled by that date can join ten live fortnightly Q&A sessions designed to offer extra guidance and a supportive learning community

The practicum can be completed in one of the following ways:


Option 1: Local placement in the Philippines where available, at no extra cost (placement conditions apply, contact us for more information).

Option 2: LTi-organised placement. This may involve travel to another country, for example Vietnam, or an approved alternative arranged by LTi. 
LTi placement fee: PHP 10,000
Travel and accommodation: paid by the student if travel is required

Entry Requirements 

It is important that you have an good level of written and spoken English skills. This is not only so that you have the ability to complete the course, but also so that you can be a successful English as a Second Language teacher.

​When you enrol, we will ask that you to participate in an Entry Skills Test. The test will involve a multiple choice quiz designed to evaluate your readiness for the study by assessing key skills in language proficiency, digital literacy, numeracy, and cognitive reasoning. Most people who passed Year 12 (senior secondary school) will be able to acheive a pass result in the Entry Skills Test.

​In addition to the Entry Skills Test, ​you must also provide evidence showing one (1) of the following:
  • Completed Year 12 English at a pass level or higher (in Australia)
  • Completion of other studies (Cert III or higher) delivered in English
  • Achieved an IELTS 6.0 or equivalent on an endorsed English test

Technology Requirements
The TESOL Course is an online course and you will need a computer or device with internet access in order to complete it.
