sTUDY TESOL IN IRANLTi has delivered its Australian Government accredited TESOL courses in Iran since 2012. Students completing the LTi TESOL courses in Iran are subject to the same requirements as those completing the training in Australia or any other part of the world.
Standard LTi course materials are supplied to every student and every student is required to submit assessment on-line via the LTi TOSS (TESOL Online Student System). The quality of student assessment work is monitored by our International Office in Australia to ensure that the courses are delivered in accordance with the accreditation requirements. The Course is a blended delivery with both face-to-face classes and self-paced online study. |

Duration & Study Hours
The Iran classes comes with the support of receiving face-to-face classes, combined with the flexibility to have up to the full course duration complete your assessment and practical placement.
Students have the flexibility to choose to be enrolled in either the 10695NAT - Certificate IV in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) or the 10688NAT - Diploma of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

Please note that students may complete the Courses in more or less time due to their ability, motivation and many other considerations depending on you personal circumstances.

In the past, some highly motivated students with excellent reading and writing skills have worked intensively to complete the Certificate IV by the end of the delivery of classes. Other students have worked hard to get it done in 6 months and still others have taken a year or two. It all depends on what works for you, we'll be there to help you every step of the way.
Students that need more than these maximum time frames must apply for and extension and pay an Extension Fee. Changing between Full Time and Part Time is free. We want to support you in whichever way works best.

Practical Placement
As part of the course, you get to take part in a practice teaching experience in a real ESL classroom. During your placement you observe an experienced trainer teaching English to speakers of other languages and then actually plan and deliver your own English as a Second Language (ESL) lessons. This is so that you can put the theory of the course into practice and develop your skills as an ESL teacher. Your teaching will be observed by a qualified and experienced ESL teacher who will be able to provide you with feedback and support to help develop your teaching ability. At the end of the course, we want you to feel confident in your ability to teach when you enter an ESL classroom.
During practical placement you will get to:

10688NAT - Diploma of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) students complete 20 hours of practical placement (observation & practice teaching) with a minimum of 10 hours practice teaching.
During practical placement you will get to:
- Interact with an observe an experienced ESL teacher
- Get tips about the latest ESL teaching strategies and techniques
- Gather lots of ideas for your own ESL lessons
- Know the students that you will be teaching
- Learner to identify English proficiency level/s and learning needs in real-time with real people
- Test what delivery style works best for you and the ESL students you teach
- Apply what you learn in the course to real life situations
- Teach your own ESL lessons and get feedback on what you can do to make them even better

Extension fees - Your close of study date will be stated on your Confirmation of Enrolment letter or email. If you are unsure of your close of study date, please contact us. If for any reason an extension is required, you can apply for
one by completing the Extension Application Form. Extensions will incur an additional fee which may range from $250 for 3 months up to the full course fee (depending on circumstances)*
Document reissue fee - A Document Reissue fee will apply in the event that a student requests the reissue of a Certificate, or Competency Transcript, or Statement of Attainment issued by LTi that they had previously received. The
Reissue Fee is $99.
- All payments are to be made in Iranian Rials (IRR) directly to Atiyeh Shariati Saravi
- Ms Shariati will organise for payment to be provided to Language Training Institute (LTi) in Australian Dollars (AUD) for student fees.
- There is no refund for any payment once it is made.
- A certificate will not be issued until all payments are made.
- If your personal situation should change you may request an extension or deferment of your course, but your payment schedule will continue as per the payment terms until the full course cost has been covered.
- If you withdraw from the Course, you are still obligated to pay your Course fees in full as per your payment schedule. If extenuating circumstances severely affect your ability to continue your studies, the remaining balance of your Course fees may be waived at the discretion of Ms Shariati and Language Training Institute (LTi)
