About the Entry Skills Test
For enrolment into the International Certificate, Certificate IV, Diploma, Graduate Certificate, or Graduate Diploma programs, all students must successfully complete an Entry Skills Test. This test evaluates your readiness for the TESOL course by assessing:
The test comprises 20 multiple-choice questions, and you will have 30 minutes to complete it. To gain entry, you are required to achieve a pass rate of 80%. A link to the Entry Skills Test will be sent to you upon submission of an enrolment application for one of our TESOL courses. If your first attempt is unsuccessful, you will be eligible to reattempt the test after a 3-month waiting period. In the event of a second unsuccessful attempt, our Admissions Team will contact you to discuss support options to help you progress toward meeting the course requirements. This test ensures that all students have the necessary communication, analytical, and foundational skills to successfully engage with the TESOL course content, including advanced grammar, linguistics, and teaching methodologies. It also helps maintain the high standards of excellence that employers and graduates expect from LTi courses. |
