LTi was the first organisation in Australia to gain Government accreditation for a Certificate IV in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). We have been responsible for delivering TESOL Courses for over 20 years to thousands of students around the globe. We're also publishers who offer a full suite of TESOL Training resources which have been used by over 50 different national and international training organisations.

TESOL is our passion
We focus on training people to Teach English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) around Australia and overseas. Our students come from diverse backgrounds and places (look at our Course Locations and you will see just how far and wide). We teach both to native speakers of English, and to those whose first language is not English. We've been around for a long time and we're here to stay. The current LTi Certificate IV TESOL Course is comprised of 9 Core Units and a choice of 1 of 7 Elective Units which focus on a variety of specialisations in TESOL (for example: Use technology to assist ESL learning). LTi has also written and accredited a Diploma of TESOL which shares 9 common core units with the Cert IV, plus an additional 5 specialisation units, making a 14 unit course. In addition to developing and refining the accredited TESOL Courses, LTi produces a full suite of student and trainer TESOL publications for the delivery and assessment of the Course. These publications are available in both online and hard copy format and include student Training Manuals (Texts), Workbooks, and a Study Guide.The resoucres have been developed to faciliate both distance and classroom use. Our online learning system is based on a Moodle platform with an interactive learning environment hosting resources, videos and online assessments. |

NCVER Annual Report for LTi
The National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) conducts annual independent surveys of Australian graduates. Of the 2019 graduates of Language Training Institute:
- 74.9% were employed or enrolled in further study after training.
- 92.5% were satisfied with the overall quality of their training.
- 80.3% would recommend the training
- 91.8% would recommend their training provider.
- 76.7% achieved their main reason for doing the training.
