South Africa – 2015
Study by Distance Education
Students are required to allocate time outside of classes for self study of course materials, completion of assessment and practical placement. To complete the course by the close of study date it is recommended that students allow the following hours:
There is a minimum 12 hour commitment required for Cert IV practical placement in English as a Second Language (ESL) class and 20 hours required for the Diploma. This includes observation and supervised practice teaching in an approved placement organisation. In some cases you may need to be willing to take some time off from work each week or for a short period sometime during your enrolment, in order to attend your practical placement.

"I have been studying the Diploma of TESOL with LTi and I have found it to be the best education course I have ever taken. It has covered everything I need to know to confidently teach English as a second language. It is the best course I have ever taken and I would highly recommend it ."
