I liked doing it as a distance student mainly because I could do it in my own time and at my own pace.It was great to have Gaileen as my distance tutor. I knew she was always there and that was a tremendous encouragement to me. Any queries I had were answered or explained by Gaileen promptly when I phoned or emailed her.

I really felt the assignments were very practical and they stretched me in many ways giving me tasks that I am sure will help me in teaching.The material to be studied has been written in a very clear way. I like the fact that the author, Paula Withers, made some personal comments in the books. I knew I was learning from a practitioner rather than a theoretician. She has worked in the field so knew what she was talking about. I think anyone studying in this field at any level would benefit from Paula’s books. I also thought that the author made what is complex so easy to understand, especially the grammar chapter. Congratulations on producing it. They are fantastic!
